Start with the booking form. Tell us your idea, placement, size and any references. We reply within 48 hours to arrange a consultation and, once the design direction is set, lock in a date.
No. White Lotus is an appointment-only studio so each booking has the room and the time it needs. Everything begins with an enquiry through the booking form.
Absolutely. Bring it finished or bring it rough. The consultation is where we shape it to your body and tell you honestly what will hold up over time. We use reference images for inspiration but do not copy another artist’s work.
Each artist has their own style, from black-and-grey realism to fine line and traditional Japanese. If you are unsure, the booking form lets you ask for a recommendation and we will match you to the right hand.
Yes. A non-refundable deposit secures your booking and is deducted from the final cost of your tattoo. The amount depends on the size and complexity of the piece.
With at least 48 hours notice your deposit transfers to a new date. Inside 24 to 48 hours, half the deposit transfers. Less than 24 hours notice or a no-show forfeits the deposit.
Pricing is quoted per piece after the consultation, based on size, detail and the time it will take. We will give you a clear figure before any ink is committed.
You must be 18 or older. Clients aged 16 to 17 may be tattooed only with written parental/guardian consent and the parent or guardian present. Valid photo ID is required at every appointment.
Arrive well-rested and hydrated, having eaten within the last couple of hours. Wear comfortable, loose clothing with easy access to the area, and come with clean skin. No lotions or numbing creams unless we have discussed them.
Tattooing is uncomfortable, and how much varies with placement and your own tolerance. Eating beforehand, resting well and staying relaxed all help. We work at a pace that keeps the session manageable.
The outer skin settles within two to three weeks; the deeper layers take a few months to fully heal. Your artist talks you through caring for it day by day at your appointment.
Touch-ups within three months are complimentary when aftercare has been followed correctly. Touch-ups needed because of improper aftercare will incur a fee.
Some redness and flaking is normal. Spreading redness, persistent heat, pus or a fever is not normal. See a doctor. For anything else, message the studio; we would always rather hear from you.
